Wedding dreaming - dusky pink colour scheme

So my sister has looked through all the gelato inspired wedding colour palettes and is leaning towards dusky pink  instead of multiple pastels, inspired by what these brides have done.  She is still sticking with the idea of letting each bridesmaid choose her own dress - I think the result will be beautiful and I've taken great delight hunting around for things that will suit her colour scheme.

Can't wait to find more things as well as see what dresses the other bridesmaids find!

Teardrop campers

Came across the cutest campers in the world the other day - good for a rustic but very romantic honeymoon maybe?  Am I the last person in the world to find out about these or are others delighted for the first time?  I want one - just don't know where I'd put the kids!  Most definitely a sunshine moment.

Wedding dreaming - gelato colour scheme

Emmaline Bride
My sister has started thinking about the colour scheme for her wedding next December and I couldn't resist doing a bit of image research for her.  She told me "gelato" which made me think of soft pastels or even bright summer colours, romance, elegance, vintage and simple beauty.  She would also like her bridesmaids to be able to choose their own individual but complimenting dresses.  Here are some of the beautiful gelato bridesmaids and bouquets that I found.

Wedding dreaming - Yellow, grey and white colour scheme

When someone finds out you are a planning a wedding, one of the most common questions is "What colours are you having>?" and I'm sure when people heard my combo they probably thought it was a bit strange.  Choosing the colours for my wedding was a tortuous decision and I changed my mind often in the initial planning stages.  I ended up settling on grey, white and yellow.  My wedding venue was a modern venue right in the middle of the West Australian bush, and I felt that these three colours were represented often in the plants.  The bridesmaids wore light grey dresses and bright yellow shoes, and carried bouquets of white and yellow roses.  The guys wore dark grey suits and yellow, grey and white ties.  And then of course a lot of the decor was in the same colour scheme so by the time it got to the wedding I was seeing those three colours everywhere!

The bridesmaids chose their own dresses, something that was very important to me as I wanted them all to feel comfortable and beautiful.
